Golden Gumboot Festival Tully Golden Gumboot Festival 2007 Tully’s reputation for being a “Pretty Wet Place” is celebrated each year at the Golden Gumboot Festival. The Gumboot Games are a major feature with activities including gumboot throwing, gumboot golf, gumboot bowling and much more. The festival includes a street parade and Golden Girl quest and a big afternoon of live music and entertainment, food, market stalls and loads of children’s activities

It is common in woodlands, forests and swamplands of eastern Australia. It is one of Australia's best known snakes, as it is common in urban areas along the eastern coast of Australia.

Tully
Tully Butler Street Tully.Tully is a small town in Queensland, Australia, adjacent to the Bruce Highway and by road approximately 140 km south of Cairns and 210 km north of Townsville. The Tully River (previously known as the Mackay River) was named after Surveyor-General William Alcock Tully in the 1870s. The town of Tully was then named after the river (previously it had been known as Banyan).
