Aerial view of Darling Island, is located in the inner city suburb of Pyrmont. Darling Island was levelled and joined to the mainland with hewn rock in the late 1840s. It became home to shipbuilding yards of the Australian Steam Navigation Company. Australian Maritime Museum is in the foreground and White Bay in the background
