Wellington Hotel
Wellington Hotel The Hotel Wellington was constructed to coincide with the arrival of the railway and obtained its first licence on 1880 under the proprietorship of George Johnson. The building is a substantial, double-storey structure which features three trussed roof gables and a turret with a corner bellcote, turned verandah posts and a cast iron balustrade surrounding the facade along the balcony. Wellington Post Office
Wellington Post Office The Wellington Post Office was built by William Moffat the successful contractor and the building was finished in October 1869. Originally used as a telegraph office and residence, postal services were transferred to this building from nearby Montefiores in 1872. More features where added to the building in 1912.
