Eubenangee Swamp National Park
Eubenagee Swamp National Park's wetlands are a significant habitat for waterbirds. The park also protects some of the last remnants of various lowland vegetation types. Much of it is swampland, supporting paperbarks, waterbirds and crocodiles. The rest is rainforest and grassland. Melaleucas and sedges feature around the swamp and rare plants grow in the park. Lit Sing Gung Chinese Temple
The Lit Sing Gung - Chinese Temple was built in Owen Street around 1940 by the shire's Chinese population many of whom had come from the former goldfield areas of Cape York.
The temple is open every day from 8 am to 5 pm and entry is free. More Info
