The Australian white ibis (Threskiornis molucca) is considered to be an urban pest along the east coast of Australia. The non-specific diet and broad habitat requirements of ibis have facilitated their successful exploitation of the urban environment. White Bay Power Station
The disused White Bay power station, one of inner Sydney's oldest and most significant industrial sites, is likely to be redeveloped as the NSW Heritage Council reviews the plant's conservation plan.
