The Paul Wenz Estate Personal Library is situated in the library. Forbes Family History Group is located at the rear of the Library. This room is one of the best resourced local history centres in the Central West. Extensive archives include microfilms of Forbes newspapers dating from 1861, maps, photographs, family histories, cemetery and church records, reference books, fiche, networked computers and many more valuable nation-wide resources.
